Great inn in the Black Forest. Room, service, food was amazing. We as a motorcycle group were very satisfied and would love to come back. Ideal starting point for wonderful tours and dry, safe places for the pugs. The helpful and friendly staff were also happy to respond to special requests. It could hardly be better!

Very nicely located hotel, in the middle of the countryside. Pure tranquility! The best Black Forest cake, the Vesper platter is also very tasty. Parking spaces in front of the hotel. A swimming pond invites you to swim in the summer and the associated park to relax. We will come back. Recommendable.

I visited this hotel during business trip with one of my associates and I have to say that the hotel exceeded our expectations. Our rooms, the lobby and the sourroundings look great. The food during our dinner and breakfast was delicious. I also loved the owner's personal approach. Thank you for your hospitality.

Everything tasted great. I would particularly like to highlight the liver dumplings and the beef tongue, because they are particularly difficult to prepare and cannot be found equally well anywhere else.

The room was fine. The breakfast was very disappointing - you had to pre-order bread rolls in the evening and then you didn't even get the desired number. In addition, the selection was very limited. The staff was friendly

Chic and cozy, but if you are in the upper class and take € 24 for the roast, then the fried onions should be crispy and not tough. And the meat shouldn't be too well done if ordered medium.

A gem in the middle of the Black Forest! We enjoyed every minute of it, from the restaurant and staff to the hotel and spa; to the endless hiking trails around it. We'd love to come back someday!

It was one of the nicest vacations. We really liked the well-kept country house, nestled in a beautiful area. The friendliness and competence of the staff is outstanding. The cleanliness in and around the property is great. What we particularly liked was the warmth with which you are greeted anew every day. The food at this house is fantastic and a delight, so there is definitely a need to repeat. We'll definitely see you again.

Beautiful little place and the food was fine. We found the service to be very curt, even snappy. When the staff snapped at us 'jetzt oder nein' in a compelling tone (we discussed a desert together), we left quickly. Unfortunately.

Great country house with very nice service staff with a beautiful terrace where also not so good weather can be closed by 5 very large awnings But the view is also very good by Park similar facility below the terrace with a beautiful lake and Wassertrettbecken and all sorts of other pastime possibilities

Lovely traditional Black Forest hotel. Well placed and with plenty of parking. The staff were very friendly particularly the young lady serving our group during the evening. Good food and nothing was too much trouble. English spoken by all. Would be a great base for a family with games within the grounds. A small lake in the delightful grounds made it possible to swim although in June the water was very cold. I would have given this hotel five stars were it not for the fact that our room as at the back with virtually no view and balcony but just an awkward flat roof to step on to. Others in our group were much more fortunate with second floor rooms with balconies overlooking the lake and valley. Yes I would definitely go again but would make a point of asking for a room with a view over the lake.

This place serves authentic and tasty German food. This place was a stop over for us. A bit to pricey I must say but the portions and the quality of the food made it worthwhile. The soup bowl was immensly larger than expected and the veggie uberbacken platter was heavy as well. Tip - dress well when u go there to eat!! ;)

Stopped off at this hotel on our ride through to Austria. They made us very welcome; dried our motorcycle gear for us and provided safe and dry parking for our bike. Very help staff and the restaurant was lovely. Great food and decent beer. Would stay there again.

It is a wonderful place in the middle of the Black Forest. Perfect for families with kids. Hosts treat you like family. Nice food served till very late. There is a pond, ducks, farm animals and lots of trees around :-) Big rooms available to fit big families

Had a very nice weekend there. Enjoyed both our room (family appartment, required privacy for parents, a bit of adventure for the daughter who was located one ladder upstairs) and the restaurant: Food delicious, local ingredients, but very well prepared. Remarkable surprises: - Candle light dinner: Four courses, inexpensive, lovely! - Pumpkin ravioli: Delicious! - Cheese plate for dessert, excellent cheese from the neighbour village (Tennenbronn)
